Carla MacKinnon, Director – A filmmaker and interdisciplinary producer with a background in technology and education, Carla graduated in 2013 from an Animation MA at Royal College of Art. In 2009 she founded Rich Pickings, live events bringing filmmakers together with practitioners in science and the humanities, aimed at broadening perspectives.

Prof. Christopher French, Consultant Scientist – Professor of Psychology at Goldsmiths, University of London’s Anomalistic Psychology Research Unit. He specialises in the psychology of paranormal beliefs and experiences has published over 60 articles and chapters covering a wide range of topics within psychology. Dr Paul Broks, Consultant Scientist – A neuropsychologist and writer. His beautiful book Into The Silent Land (Atlantic Books, 2003) which mixes neurological case stories, fiction and memoir was shortlisted for the Guardian First Book Award.

James Mullighan, Producer of marketing and distribution – James is Director of Cork International Film Festival. Prior to this he directed the 65th Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2011, produced RESFEST’s UK, Ireland and Australian tours and was Creative Director of Shooting People.

Dan Denis, Resident researcher – A psychology Masters graduate from Goldsmiths University of London, Dan’s specialism is sleep paralysis. He curates the project’s scientific and cultural information. Contact: ddenis1@sheffield.ac.uk
